Yolanda Chavarria, nee Lopez, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the golden age of 95.  Beloved Wife of the late Lazaro Chavarria.  Devoted Mother of Elvira (Juan) Vargas, Lazaro (Carmen) Chavarria, Joseph (Phyllis) Chavarria and Julio (Janet) Chavarria.  Loving Daughter of the late Jose Lopez and the late Felicitas Lopez.  Beloved Grandmother of Yolanda (Richard) Vargas, Patty (Geovani) Barraza) Vargas, Antonio (Lourdes) Vargas, Ricardo (Alexandra) Vargas, Manuela (Homer) Paez, Maria (Ronald) Rodriguez, Paola (Mark) Lehman, Stephanie (Brian) Cooper, Deana Gevrekis, Joseph (girlfriend Marit Olsen) Chavarria, Christopher (Shari) Martin and Stephanie Hunt.  Loving Great-Grandmother of 21 and Great-Great Grandmother of 1.  Dear Sister of the late Manuel Lopez, the late Jose Lopez, the late Pilar Lopez and the late Rolando Lopez.  Dear Aunt of many Nieces & Nephews.  Loving Companion to Blackie. 

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation and Funeral Service on Friday, May 19, 2023. Visitation from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).
