Virginia Favela, nee Chaidez, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the golden age of 85. Beloved Wife of the late Arturo Favela. Devoted Mother of Maribel Favela, Alonso Favela and Dorina Favela. Loving Daughter of the late Amando and the late Tomasa Chaidez. Fond Grandmother of Vanessa Favela, Christian Favela and Danny Favela. Dear Sister of Luisa Arenas, Herlinda Ayala, Luz Maria Chaidez, Heriberto Chaidez, Nina Chaidez, Marie Cepeda, the late Rojelia Rivera and the late Jose Chaidez. Dear Aunt of many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162. (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow on Monday, November 25, 2024 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 A.M. Proceeding to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 46 N. Wolf Rd, Northlake, IL 60164. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:00 A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
