Virginia Bartucci, nee Ruffolo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 while surrounded by her loving family at the Golden Age of 89. Beloved Wife of the late Gabriele for a loving 45 years. Devoted Mother of Carol (the late Aldo) Fortino, Lora (Claudio) Bruno and Serafino Bartucci. Loving Daughter of the late Serafino and the late Rosaria, nee Vommaro, Ruffolo. Loving Nanna of Stacy (Salvatore) Purpora, the late Aldo Fortino, Amanda Bruno, Alyssa Fortino, Vittorio (Gina) Bruno, Angelo Fortino and Santino (Delaney) Fortino. Loving Italian Nanna to Gabriella, Antonino, Salvatore and Aldo Purpora. Dear Sister of the late Francesco Belfiore, the late Luigi (the late Carmela) Belfiore, the late Carolina (the late Antonio) Perfetti, the late Amelia (Francesco) Perfetti, the late Mariano (the late Peppina) Ruffolo, the late Filomena (the late Ferdinando) Serpe, Concetta (Alberto) Pellegrino and Maria (John) Passanante. Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located Between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Monday, April 29, 2024 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to Divine Providence Catholic Church, 2550 Mayfair Avenue, Westchester, Illinois.
