Vincent “Vinnie” Bertuca passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025 while surrounded by his loving family at the age of 71. Beloved Husband of Victoria nee McConachie for a loving 38 years. Devoted Father of Alexis (Philip) Toca. Loving Son of the late Salvatore and the late Goldie nee Slamar, Bertuca. Fond Nonno of his adorable Luna. Dear Brother of Anthony T. (Mary), Barbara (Charles) Spaulding and Mary Hennig. Dear Uncle and Great Uncle to many.
Vinnie was raised in Berwyn and it was more than his hometown, it was his heartbeat. Every street corner carried a memory, every block held a story, and the community became a part of who he was. He embraced Berwyn fully, building friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Family was at the center of everything Vinnie did. It was his greatest pride and joy. He shared a deep and enduring love with his wife Vicki, whose partnership and laughter he cherished every day. He adored his daughter, Alexis, and was thrilled to welcome his son-in-law Phil into the family. Above all, his heart belonged to his granddaughter Luna, whose smile and spirit brought him endless happiness.
Vinnie’s big personality, generous spirit, and gift for making people laugh left an imprint on everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in countless stories, shared smiles, and the community he cherished for a lifetime.
May he rest in peace surrounded by the same love he gave so freely.
