Travis Smith, Sr.

Travis Smith Sr., U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in the tranquility of his home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 72.  Beloved Husband of Delois Smith, nee Clark.  Devoted Father of Traci Smith, Pierre (Angela) Smith, Chemica (Robert) Williams, Enda (Wayne) Brady, Travis Smith Jr., Ta’vis (Patrick) Ishmael, Roosevelt (Shantu) Smith, Christian (Richard) Volcy.  Loving Son of the late Sylvester and the late Thelma Smith.  Fond Grandfather of 22 and Great-Grandfather of 6.  Dear Brother of the late Sylvester (Beatrice) Smith, Ronald (Bertha) Smith, the late Earl Smith, the late Erwin (Reatha) Smith, the late Linda (Smith), Brenda Smith, Floyd (Bonnie) Smith, Eric (Regina) Loury.  Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Dear Friend of Michael J., Vernon King, and Harry Howard.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Thursday May 6, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). 

Funeral to follow: Friday, May 7, 2021, ALL to meet directly at Miracle Revival Center, 2010 St. Charles Rd, Maywood, IL 60153, Lying in state at 8:30 A.M. with a Funeral Service to follow immediately at 9:30 A.M. Interment Private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.  For additional information please call (708) 449-5300.
