Socorro Herrera, nee Saucedo, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family at the Golden Age of 88. Beloved Wife of the late Isidro for a loving 52 years. Devoted Mother of Ninfa (Francisco Moreno) Herrera, Elsa Herrera, Enrique Herrera and Estela (Tony) Segura. Loving Daughter of the late Jose De La Luz and the late Trinidad, nee Villanueva, Saucedo. Fond Grandmother of Noe, Anely, Daisy, Isaric, Michael, Stacey, Daniel, Cynthia and Elisa. Dear Great Grandmother of Angel, Julian, Sofia, Samuel, Abigail, Giselle, Arabella, Amaya and Natalia. Dear Sister of Ana Maria (Francisco) Rivera, Catalina (Raul) Chaidez and the late Petra (the late Gregorio) Chaidez. Dear Aunt, Great Aunt and Great-Great Aunt to many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Saturday, November 26, 2022 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 a.m. proceeding to St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 9613 Schiller Blvd, Franklin Park, IL.
