Sherrod P. Maury passed away peacefully on Friday September 5, 2025 at the age of 67. Beloved Husband for a loving 28 years to Bridgette Maury nee Smith. Devoted Father of Derek, Sherrod Jr, Dionte, Jasmine, Jacquitta, John (Jamielah), Jamie Sr and Sydney. Loving son of the late Henry Stewart and the late Dorothy Williams. Fond Grandfather Maila, Tremone, Travian, Saibrene, J’Kyla, Jaliyah, Shenice, Akenya, Averi, Jahmil, Jamie Jr.  Dear Brother of Lemar (the late Margaret) Maury, Bryant Lee, Nancy Stewart, Ericka Stewart, and the late Michael Maury. Beloved Brother-in-law of Kenneth (Vilja) Lyles Sr, Alonzo Lyles, and Celeste (Alvin) Stevenson. Loving Special Cousin of Barry Rhodes. Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Friday, September 19, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Rd., Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow: Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels visitation from 9:00 A.M-11:00 A.M. Celebration of Life Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 AM.
