San Juana Ramirez, nee Velazquez, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026.

San Juana was the beloved wife of Gregory Ramirez, devoted mother of Maria Soledad Hernandez (Chole) (the late Alfonso Hernandez), Salvador Ibarra (Manuela), Jose Cruz (Julia), Maria Velasquez (Frank J. Rocha), Nancy Schultz (Joe), and the late Betty Ramirez. Loving Daughter of the late Juan Velazquez and Ma. Refugio Renovato. Fond grandmother of Anthony J. Rocha (Jennifer), Mark A. Rocha (Sandra), Laura E. Ibarra, Elizabeth Ibarra, Ricardo Ibarra, Salvador Ibarra Jr., Andrew J. Rodriguez, Maria del Refujio Hernandez, and Isabel Hernandez. Her memory is also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:30 a.m. Proceeding to St. Domitilla Catholic Church, 4940 Washington St, Hillside, IL, United States, 60162.
