Sam Sciabica Jr., age 95 — A devoted husband to the late Marion Sciabica, and a proud, loving father of seven: Susan Bellino, Sandra (Joseph) Cassaro, Natalie (Bill) Rosas, Mary Noto, Salvatore (Dana) Sciabica, Joseph (Tracy) Sciabica, and John (Michele) Sciabica.
Sam was a cherished grandfather to 13—Charles, Cynthia, Nicole, Melissa, Jessica, Philip, Peter, CJ, John, Nicholas, Caitlin, Mia, and Joseph—and a proud great-grandfather to his precious Lola.
He was a dear brother to James Sciabica and was preceded in death by his siblings Thomas Sciabica and Josephine Zonzo.
Sam was a hardworking, dedicated man who took great pride in everything he did. He retired after 38 years at Villa Nova Pizzeria, where he was loved and respected by coworkers and customers alike, and also worked many years with Jewel/Osco. His strong work ethic, warm smile, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Above all, Sam was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. He was a true example of what it means to live a life full of heart, humility, and hard work.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love and gratitude.
Wake and mass service details can be obtained by contacting Sam’s family.
