Sam Buonauro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 65. Beloved Husband of Gina Buonauro. Devoted Father of Sam (Amanda) Buonauro Jr., Gionna (Fiancé Brian) Buonauro and Joseph (Breann) Buonauro. Loving Son of the late Robert Buonauro and the late Arlene. Fond Grandfather of Gia, Sammy, Aria and Vonni Buonauro. Dear Brother of Peggy (Larry) Kelly. Dear Uncle of Rachel Kelly. Loving Cousin and Friend to many.

Sam was the epitome of a true gentlemen, a legend. With an unwaveringly wicked devotion to his family and friends. Loyalty, Respect and Honor is what he lived by. He always persevered, the strongest fighter who could not be kept down.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 A.M. until time of Chapel Service celebrated promptly at 11:00 A.M. Interment Private.
