Roy “Kenny” Douglas passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 75. Beloved Husband for a loving 18 years to Mattie, nee Bettis, Douglas. Devoted Father of Brea (Phillip Grady) Douglas and Jomo Bettis. Loving Son of the late Jesse, Sr. and the late Johnnie Mae Douglas.  Dear Brother of the late Jesse Douglas, Jr., Randall Douglas and Marilyn Douglas. Loving Son-in-law of Laverne Bettis.  Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews. Loving Best Friend of Andrew Thompson. Best Companion to Jalen the Turtle.

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, August 21, 2026. ALL Family and Friends are to gather directly at Proviso Baptist Church, 1116 S. 5th Avenue, Maywood. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park.
