Rosendo “Joe” Villarreal  was an honorably discharged United States Army Vietnam Veteran who passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78. Beloved Husband of the late Janet “Jan” Villarreal nee Casperson. Devoted Father of Chris (Tanya) and Mike (Nicole). Loving Son of the late Juanita Gasca. Fond Grandfather of Christopher, Nina, Natalie and Matthew. Dear Brother of Lisa (Dennis) Mitchell, Maria (Dan) Fitzgerald, Ruben, Esperanza (Jesus) Morales, Frances (Roy) Alpizar, Margot Rodriguez-Villarreal, Mario (Debbie), the late Juan Manuel “Charrasqi” and the late Juan Manuel. Dear Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located Between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation 9:30 a.m. until time of Chapel Service of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mt.
