Richard N Lord

Richard N. Lord passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 69.  Devoted Father of Nicholas (Michele), and Dana.  Loving Son of the late Nicholas and the late Mary, nee Plepel. Fond Grandfather of Alyssa, Nicky, and Michael.  Dear Brother of Arlene.  Fond Partner for 23 years of the late Elizabeth “Beth” Schoenike.  Dear Friend to many.

Richard, of Arlington Heights, IL, loved spending time with his family and was an avid cook. He was born May 25, 1951 and was raised in the Galewood neighborhood of Chicago. He graduated from Steinmetz High School in 1969 and was a 50 year Pari Mutuel Clerk at all of the Chicagoland area race tracks. Richard will be remembered for his love for his family and friends.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Monday, February 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 A.M. proceeding to St. Giles Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 A.M.
