Richard L. Carlson, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 70. Beloved Husband of Carmela for a loving 49 years. Devoted Father of Cheryl (Rik) Andersen, Derek (Amy) Carlson and Philip (Girlfriend Jessica) Carlson. Loving Son of the late Philip Carlson and Mary Carlson. Fond Grandfather of Gianna (fiancé Spencer), Jenna, Brianna, Derek Jr., Alyse and Mason. Dear Brother of Rusty Carlson. Loving Brother-in-law and Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dearest Dog- Dad to Sasha and the late Tasha.  

Richard had a devoted passion for music.

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).
