Ricardo Rios passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 87. Beloved Husband of Emilia for a loving 58 years. Devoted Father of Roberto (Mireya) Rios, Vidal Sr. (Carmen) Rios, Saul Sr. (Lorena) Rios, Mario Sr. (Paty) Rios, and Nancy (Oscar) Del Bosque. Loving Son of the late Antonio and the late Hermelinda Rios. Fond Grandfather of Susan, Roberto Angel, Daniel Antonio, Rosadry, Ivanna, Vidal Jr., Isabella, Saul Jr., Cynthia, Ricardo, Emilia, Mario Jr., Oscar Alexander, and Felix. Dear Brother of the late Ofelia (the late Gumercindo), the late Esperanza (the late Adolfo), the late Angelina (the late Prisciliano), Apolinar, and Ubaldina (the late Pablo). Dear Uncle and Great-Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. from Russo’s Hillside Chapels proceeding to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 1101 23rd Avenue, Melrose Park, IL.
