Renee M. Zymali

Renee Marie Zymali passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 while surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her own home @ the age of 75. Beloved Wife of Ronald J. for a loving 44 years. Devoted Mother of Alyssa Zymali, Ashley (Michael) LaPorte and Sonny (Colleen) Zymali. Loving Daughter of the late Ernest and the late Edith nee Nappi, Greco. Fond Grandmother of Anthony, Ellie, Juliana, Mia, Frankie and Silvio. Dear Sister of Dennis Greco, Kathleen (the late Allen) Foreman, Ronald (Patricia) Greco, the late Ernie (Valerie) Greco, and the late Ronnie. Dear Aunt and Great Aunt to many.

Renee dedicated nearly 60 years to the beauty industry, touching the lives of people all across the city. To her, clients quickly became friends, and her chair became a place of laughter, conversation, and connection. 

Renee was devoted to her family. She easily played the role of a second mom to many. Nieces, nephews, and friends felt her warmth and welcoming spirit in her home, where everyone knew they were loved, supported, and always had a place to belong. Renee leaves behind a legacy of kindness and unconditional love that will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). A Special Words of Remembrance will be celebrated promptly at 6:00 p.m. Funeral to follow Monday, April 27, 2026 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels for a 1 hour Visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. immediately followed by a Chapel Service of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment will remain private.
