Raymond J. Rizo

Raymond Joseph Rizo passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved Husband for a loving 63 years to Dorothy M., nee Lehmann, Rizo. Devoted Father of Anthony (Mireille) Rizo, Josephine Rizo, Sarah Mae Rizo and the late Joseph Rizo. Loving Son of the late Joseph and the late Conception Rizzo. Fond Grandfather of Madeleine, Alexander, Lillian, Maxwell and Lia. Dear Brother of Judie (the late David) Contreras, the late Celso (Donna) Rizo, the late Raul (Barbara) Rizo, Linda (George) Tabetha, Victor (Barbara) Tabeta and the late Eddie Tabeta.  Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews. Loving Friend of the late Johnny (Frances) Bria, Anthony (Barbara) Bria and Al (Debra) Cook.

Raymond was a proud member of LiUna (Laborers’ International Union of North America) for over 50 years.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Chapel Service of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
