Pietro Russo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family, at the golden age of 84. Beloved Husband of Marianna nee Ziccarelli, for a loving 55 years. Devoted Father of Gianluca (Theresa) and Peter (Giovanna Scafide) Russo. Loving Son of the late Giuseppe and the late Vincenza nee Nudi, Russo. Fond Grandfather of Lia. Dear Brother of the late Francesco (the late Evelina) and the late Mario (the late Anna). Dear Uncle of Giuseppe (the late Lucia), Vincenza (the late Jeff), Annamaria (Richard) Tremblay, Benito, Italo (Leslie), Antonio, Massimo, and Ferruccio.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by a Chapel Service of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum, Des Plaines, Illinois.
