Pauline A. DeRose, nee Pope, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the age of 76. Beloved Wife of Joseph DeRose for a loving 35 years. Devoted Mother of Kelly (Jim Braun) Barnicle, and Suzy (John Davis) Barnicle. Loving Daughter of the late Thomas, and the late Dorothy, nee Six, Pope. Fond Grandmother of Gianna Davis. Dear Sister of the late John (the late Sue) Pope, the late Tom (Brenda) Pope, the late Marie (the late Johnny Ray) Stafford, and Colleen (Ron) Bovair. Fond Sister-in-Law of the late Jerry (Antoinette) DeRose, the late Ron DeRose, Janet Salihar, Louis (Lynne) DeRose, and Rick DeRose. Dear Aunt and Great-Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Pauline worked as a Dental Assistant for the City of Berwyn Health Department and for different dentists through the years. In addition to making loving memories with her husband, Joe, she devoted her time to her loving granddaughter, Gianna, who was absolutely the light of her life!
Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. proceeding to Divine Infant Jesus Church, 1601 Newcastle Ave, Westchester, IL.
