Obie Eddie Gilliam, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Golden Age of 84. Beloved Husband of Trudie, nee Smith, Gilliam. Devoted Father of Eddie (Angela) Gilliam, the late Allen Gilliam, Lolita Gilliam, the late Price Gilliam, La Shawn Gilliam, Attim Gilliam, Terrence Sartin, Willie Sartin and Corey (Tiffany) Sartin. Loving Son of the late Obie and the late Lela Gilliam. Fond Grandfather of many. Dear Brother of Early (Elizabeth) Gilliam and Cleta Faye (Steve) Everette. Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).
