Moises Diaz passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the age of 57. Beloved Husband for a loving 32 years to Olivia, nee Rivera, Diaz. Devoted Father of Moises & Omar. Loving Son of Inocencia, nee Carrera, Diaz & the late Alfredo Diaz. Dear Brother of Elisa (Pedro) Aguirre, Abraham (Lucy Rivera) Diaz and Nilda Diaz. Dear Uncle of Isamar (Rosendo) Lopez, Ariana Aguirre, Alfredo Diaz, Alejandro Diaz, Gilberto Rivera, Jennifer (Kevin) Rivera-Hartleben, Luvia (Anthony) Cook and Abraham Montenegro.

Moises Diaz was, above all, a family man. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved - his wife, sons, & all who were blessed to call him family. Music was another part of his soul. Whether he was performing, composing, or simply humming a tune, his music carried his heart. As a Village Trustee, Moe believed that leadership meant service. He wasn't in it for recognition, but to make a difference. And in his church, throughout his life, he served with humility and devotion.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to St. Beatrice Catholic Church, 4157 Atlantic Avenue, Schiller Park, Illinois.
