Miguel Mancha Salcido, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the age of 62. Beloved Husband for a loving 38 years to Maria Ruth Villegas Ponce De Leon. Devoted Father of Karen (Daniel) Colon and Odalis Mancha. Loving Son of the late Miguel and the late Celia. Fond Grandfather of Alexander & Olivia. Dear Brother of Maribel (Juan) Ramirez, Jorge (Lorena) Mancha, Martha (Alejandro) Sanchez, Teresa Mancha and the late Luz Mancha. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews.

Miguel was highly skilled as a carpenter, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship throughout his career. He was a proud member of the Carpenter’s Union Local #1 for 25 years, reflecting his commitment and loyalty to his profession.

Above all, Miguel deeply loved his family. He was known for his kindness and gentleness, never displaying a mean bone in his body. Miguel’s uplifting spirit meant he was always happy, cheerful, and joyful, bringing a sense of warmth and positivity to those around him.

Miguel’s joyful nature touched everyone he met. He had a remarkable ability to spread joy, making every gathering brighter with his presence. Often described as the life of the party, Miguel’s enthusiasm and cheerfulness made every occasion memorable and full of laughter. Miguel enjoyed motorcycles and recently earned his operator’s license.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Chapel Service of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville.
