Michael C. Holmes, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the golden age of 88. Beloved Husband of the late Barbara, nee Bultas, Holmes. Devoted Father of Donna (Thomas) Putzell, Laura (David) Greig and Michael C. (Sarah) Holmes. Loving Son of the late Paul and the late LaVerne Holmes. Fond Grandfather of Melissa Putzell, Frank (Megan) Putzell, Jennifer Putell, Ashley Greig, and Brittany (Tyler) Smith. Fond Great-Grandfather of Riley June Putzell, Walker Michael Putzell and Nolan David Smith. Dear Brother of Patrick (the late Kathy) Holmes and the late Randy Holmes. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Thursday, October 2, 2025 with a Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Chapel Service of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
