Mary Alyce Passarelli nee Chmelik passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Beloved Wife for a loving 53 years to Robert J. Passarelli. Devoted Mother of Allyson Passarelli and Robert (Jacquelyn) Passarelli. Loving Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Jeanette Chmelik. Fond Grandmother of Vincent and Dominic. Dear Sister of the late John (Betsy) Chmelik, the late William (Susan) Chmelik. Dear Aunt of John Chmelik, Steven Chmelik, Paul Chmelik and James Chmelik. Dear Aunt of Sherri Belmonte, Jamie Vayda, Jimmy Montano and Anthony Montano.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels from 9:00 a.m. proceeding to St. Mary of Celle Catholic Church, 1428 South Wesley Avenue, Berwyn, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
