Martina Nunez Franco passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 at the age of 79.  Devoted Mother of Maria Aguirre and Maximina (Jorge) Hernandez, Miguel (Gabriela) Nunez. Loving Daughter of the late Ladislado and the late Francisca.  Fond Grandmother of Edgar E. Aguirre, Adrian Aguirre, Cristian Aguirre, Rebecca (Arturo Noriega) Hernandez-Noriega, Fidel A. Hernandez, Olivia I. Nunez, Aldo J. Nunez.  Fond Great Grandmother of Arturo Noriega, Reyna Noriega, and Roy Noriega.  Dear Sister of the late Manuel (the late Belen) Nunez, the late Hiplolito (the late Concepcion) Nunez, the late Gabriel (the late Melesia) Nunez, Domingo (Dolores) Nunez, the late Benito (Lila) Nunez, Candelario (Gerarda) Nunez, the late Maria Petra (the late Emiliano) Luna, the late Guadalupe (the late Celso) Carrillo, the late Eulalia (the late Carlos) Nunez, Maria (the late Isidro) Carrasco, Antolina (the late Ernesto) Cano.  Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Loving Aunt of Lucila Sanchez.

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Il 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow: Monday, August 8th, 2022 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 11 a.m. Proceeding to Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 1101 N. 23rd Avenue, Melrose Park, Il, 60160.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 12 p.m.  Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.  For additional info call (708) 449-5300.
