Maria O. Herrera nee Cazarez passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family at the Golden age of 87. Beloved Wife of the late Roberto for a loving 57 years. Devoted Mother of Leticia Herrera Cazarez, Jose R. (Liliana Avalos), Yolanda (Michael) Spinozzi and Mariana Herrera. Loving Daughter of the late Jose Cazarez-Villanueva and the late Espectacion Corral-Diaz. Fond Grandmother of Maya Isabella, Bobby, Rebecca (Pat), and Michael. Fond Great-Grandmother of Hudson. Dear Sister of Palemon (Bertha) Cazarez, the late Jaime Cazarez, the late Baldemar (Belia) Cazarez, the late Eva (the late Benito) Alarcon and the late David Cazarez. Dear Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt to many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Friday, October 7, 2022, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. proceeding to Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish (AKA) St. Beatrice Parish, 4157 Atlantic Avenue, Schiller Park, Illinois.
