Maria Canale, nee Calo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the golden age of 90. Beloved Wife for a loving 38 years to the late Matteo Canale. Devoted Mother of John (Lauren) Canale and the late Joe Canale. Loving Daughter of the late Giuseppe & the late Maria Calo. Fond Grandmother of Isabella, Mikayla, Olivia, Giovanni and Giulia. Dear Sister of Giovanna (the late Giuseppe) Fricano, the late Giuseppe (Isabella) Calo, the late Salvatore (the late Nelli) Calo. Dear Aunt of many Nieces and Nephews.
Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 A.M. Proceeding to Divine Providence Catholic Church, 2550 Mayfair Ave, Westchester, Illinois 60154. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 A.M. Entombment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery / Christ the King Garden Mausoleum, Hillside, IL.
