Maria Elva Arenas, nee Pinela, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 80. Beloved Wife of Antonio Arenas. Devoted Mother of Sonia (Jose) Monarrez, Elva (Jesus) Gonzalez and Antonio (Janny) Arenas Jr. Loving Daughter of the late Jesus Pinela and the late Francisca Cano. Fond Grandmother of Erik, Christian, Alex, Yasmin, Briana, Clarisa, Antonio III and Viviana. Dear Sister of Jose Ramon (Alma) Pinela, the late Olivia (the late Ramon) Ramos and the late Jesus (Rafaela) Pinela. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation Friday, September 8, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Saturday, September 9, 2023 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 A.M. Proceeding to St. Barbara Catholic Church, 4008 Prairie Ave, Brookfield, Illinois 60513.
