Margherita Caprara nee Alfano passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the tranquility of her home on March 19, 2021 at the Golden Age of 81. Beloved Wife of the late Giuseppe Caprara. Devoted Mother of Rosa (Tony) Rina, Sue (Lito) Mendoza, Antonietta (Salvatore) Gatusso, Martha (Mike) DiBenedetto, Domenico (Jackie) Caprara, and the late Maria Caprara. Loving Daughter of the late Matteo and Susanna, nee Camodeca, Alfano. Fond Grandmother of Maria (Brian) Palaszynski, Natalie Rina, Nicolette Mendoza, Justin Mendoza, Joseph Mendoza, Tatiana Castillo, Josie Gattuso, Marissa DiBenedetto, and Michael DiBenedetto Jr., and Kai Caprara. Fond Great-Grandmother of Travis Rina, Gianna Tedeschi, Vincenzo Tedeschi, and Scarlett and Dylan Palaszynski. Dear Sister of Nino (Teresa) Alfano, the late Filomena (the late Alesandro) Petta, and the late Giuseppe (Giovanina) Alfano. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are to gather for the visitation, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 A.M. at St. Domitilla Catholic Church, 4940 Washington St., Hillside, IL 60162. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
