Margaret Ann Murphy

Margaret Ann Murphy, nee Geimer, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 71. Beloved Wife to the late Paul Murphy who was the love of her life for 31 years. Devoted Mother of Paul (Kat) Murphy and Anne (Tony) LaRocco. Loving Daughter of the late Leo & the late Margaret Geimer. Fond Sister-in-law to Terry (the late Marylou) Murphy and many others. Dear Grandmother of six. Dear Aunt to Kelly Smock and many other Nieces & Nephews. Loving Best Friend to Deb, Jayne, Joyce, the late Richard & the late Carla. Devoted Companion to Furry Friends: Hank & Pumpkin.  Maggie had many friends. She was a devoted Eucharistic Minister at Ascension of Our Lord Church in Oakbrook Terrace. Maggie was a proud member of the Lyons Club and the Historical Society of Oakbrook Terrace. Maggie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking.

Family and Friends are to gather directly for the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Domitilla Catholic Church, 4940 Washington Street, Hillside, Illinois on Thursday, November 2, 2023.  Mass to be celebrated promptly at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
