Manuel Herrera passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the golden age of 87. Beloved Husband for a loving 61 years to Maria Diaz- Herrera. Devoted Father of Rosa (Raul) Betancourt, Alma (Enrique) Herrera and the late Manuel de Jesus Herrera. Loving Son of the late Apolonio & the late Rosa Herrera. Fond Grandfather of Karla Betancourt, Amayrani Betancourt and Arely Betancourt. Fond Great-Grandfather of Maya Betancourt. Dear Brother of Jose (Raquel) Herrera, Socorro (Andrew) Komjati, the late Guadalupe (Maria) Herrera and Jose de Jesus (the late Fidelina) Herrera. Dear Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Monday, September 28, 2026, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 a.m. Proceeding to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 48th Court, Cicero.
