Lucy P. Sumpter passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Golden Age of 85. Loving Daughter of the late Rivers Sumpter and Lula Cook Sumpter. Dear Sister of the late Ernestine Sumpter, the late Nancy J. Sumpter, the late Ellis (Helen) Sumpter, Callie Mae Jenkins, the late Dorothy Sumpter, and Lula M. Hawkins and an unnamed angel. Dear Aunt of 23+ nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Chapel Service at 11:00 A.M. at Russo's Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).
