Lucila Vega, nee Campos, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the golden age of 84. Beloved Wife for a loving 66 years to Ignacio Vega. Devoted Mother of Francisco (Lidu) Vega, Eliseo (Malena) Vega, Ignacio (Maria) Vega, Jorge Luis (Martha) Vega, Eduardo (Marisol) Vega and Miriam (Josejuan) Guzman. Loving Daughter of the late Alfanso & the late Anamaria Campos. Fond Grandmother of Fernando Vega, Viviana (Eduardo) Fajardo, Cynthia (Govanni) Nunez, Maritza (Ivan) Rodriguez, Meloni Vega, Christian Vega, Anthony Vega, Analeslie (Michael) Carrasco, Jorge Luis Vega, Eduardo (Anabella) Vega, Johnathan (Evelyn) Vega, Nicholas Alexander Vega, Adrian Guzman and Alexandra Guzman. Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Friday, June 27, 2025. All Family and Friends are to meet directly at St. Agnes of Bohemia Catholic Church, 2651 S. Central Park Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
