Lewis Romeo Mack was born on July 8, 1935, in Chicago. The son of David and Martha (Bulls) Mack. He was the 3rd youngest of his siblings. He served several years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and was a 10-point veteran. He was very interested in real estate taking after his father and had a number of buildings which he maintained and managed. He was always interested in business and was very conscientious about documentation and legal issues. He managed clothing stores with some of his siblings and was self-employed in other ventures. He coined his initials LRM as love, romance, and money and was constantly seeking to better himself. He enjoyed classical music and fine food and was very personable to all who knew him. He met his lifelong friend Tom Anderson in 1976, and they enjoyed a good life together for nearly 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marion, brothers David, Alan, Herman, Heywood, Bernard, Herbert, Leonard and Albert. He is survived by his friend Tom, a favorite niece, Brenda, and a host other friends and relatives.
