Leonard “Lenny” Contini passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the comfort of his home, at the age of 77. Beloved Husband of Mary, nee Tartaglia, Contini, for a loving 51 years. Devoted Father of Samantha (Juan Mario Gonzalez) Contini. Loving Son of the late Alvino and the late Josephine, nee Rizzo, Contini. Fond Grandfather of Jocelyn Contini and Gia Gonzalez. Dear Brother of the late Arlene (Dudley) Skala, and the late Debra Paveglio. Fond Brother-in-law of Dr. Louis (the late Janice) Tartaglia and Philip (Jean) Tartaglia. Dear Uncle of Philip Michael (Olivia) Tartaglia. Beloved Friend of Dr. William and Sheila Lindsey.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. A Chapel Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
