Lemmie Epps nee Redmond passed away peacefully, on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved Wife of the late Roe Dorothy. Devoted Mother of Patricia Hayden, Willie Otis Epps, the late Shirley Epps, and the late Carl Epps. Loving Daughter of the late Sam Redmond and the late Irene Weatherby. Fond Grandmother of 13. Fond Great-grandmother of 25. Fond great-great grandmother of 18. Dear Sister of Jessie Greenwood, Willie Earl Redmond (Mary Catherine), the late Mary Washington, the late Robert Lee Dotson, the late Maimie Suggs, the late Catherine Robinson, the late Pete Redmond, the late Sam Redmond, the late JT Redmond and the late Will D Redmond. Family and friends are to gather for the memorial visitation on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).
