Laurene J. Kabat passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 10th, 2026. Beloved Wife of the late Robert Kabat Sr. Devoted Mother of the late Robert Jr. (Jan), Renee (Cathy), Sheryl, Kurt (the late Abby), and Karin. Loving Daughter of the late Louis & Mildred Fausher. Cherished Nana of Joseph Bratta, Kathryn (Nic Seifert) Kabat, and Kara Kabat. Dear Sister of Robert (Marianne) Fausher. Dear Aunt of Randy, Rudy, Rusty, Diana, & Louie. 

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Chapel Service to be celebrated promptly at 10 A.M.
