Karen M. Nugent, nee Panknin, passed away peacefully in Madeira Beach, Florida at the golden age of 82. Beloved Wife of the late Robert K. Nugent. Devoted Mother of Mark R. (Janice) Nugent, Scott W. Nugent and Christopher G. (Lisa) Nugent. Loving Daughter of the late George and the late Mildred Panknin. Fond Grandmother of Farrah, Ryan, Madeline, Jack, Elise, Molly, Nathen (Allison) and Rylie. Dear Sister of Evelyn “Tootie” (the late Frank) Gudgeon. Dear Aunt of George Gudgeon, the late Mike Gudgeon and the late John Gudgeon.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. Proceeding to Visitation Parish, 779 S. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois.
