Juan Luis Barreto Ojeda passed away surrounded by his loving family Thursday, July 1st, 2021.  Beloved Husband of Maria Reyna Ramirez.  Devoted Father of Luis Miguel Barreto, Juan Felipe Barreto (Carla Rojas), Naisla Lizeth Barreto, Stefany Barreto Gonzalez, and Zaid Ramirez Barreto.  Loving Son of the late Melquisedec Barreto and the late Naisla Ojeda.  Fond Grandfather of Abby Isabella.  Dear Brother of Naisla Julia Barreto Ojeda, Maria Teresa Barreto Ojeda, Jean-Pier Barreto, Adriana Barreto Ojeda.  Dear Uncle and Great Uncle of Diana Fernanda Barreto, Paula Natalie Pachon Barreto, Maria Alejandra Gomez, Gabriela Pachon Barreto, and Maria Fernanda Caicedo Barreto. 

Family and Friends are to gather for the visitation Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00PM at Russo’s Hillside Chapels 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 AM proceeding to St. Barbara Catholic Church, 4000 Prairie Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 AM.  Interment Private.  For additional info. call (708)449-5300. 

Despite the new CDC guidelines, effective May 13, 2021, Russo’s Hillside Chapels requires ALL INDIVIDUALS entering the Funeral Home, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask or facial covering.

We ask that you exit the funeral home after paying your respects so that all visitors have an opportunity to do the same.  Please refrain from brining food or beverages into the funeral home.  The coffee room is not available at this time.
