Jovita Romero, nee Carrillo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved Wife of the late Efren Romero. Devoted Mother of Jose Gpe (Gema) Romero, Francisco (Gloria) Romero, Ricardo (Teresa) Romero, Efren (Guadalupe) Romero, Jesus M. (Auxilio) Romero, Lourdes (Joel) Michel, Antonia (Martin) Ramirez, Teresa (Alberto) Ochoa, Rosabel (Feliciano) Pena, Rafael (Beatriz) Romero, Azucena (Victor) Monarez, Ahide (Gabriel) Saenz and Ricardo (Elviva) Mota. Loving Daughter of the late Ricardo and the late Apolonia, nee Ramirez, Carrillo. Fond Grandmother of 41. Dear Great Grandmother of 28. Dear Sister of Elena, Hermuta, Arturo, Ricardo, Armando, the late Manuel, the late Emilia, the late Eva, the late Amancio and the late Emma. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).  Funeral to follow on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 a.m.  Proceeding to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 46 N Wolf Rd, Northlake, IL 60164.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
