Johnny Bernard Green passed away peacefully surrounded by his Loving Family on Thursday, November 11th 2021. Beloved Husband of Fannie Mae nee Duckworth, Green. Devoted Father of Winter Monique Peek, Katherine (Ron) Robinson, Marilyn Jenkins, & Franklin Robinson. Loving Son of the Late Woodrow & Rose. Fond Grandfather of Britney Bailey, Matthew Wright, Breeze Bennet, Lamar Wright, Malik B. Howard, Nia I. Howard, Hasan B. Howard; LaQuesha Jenkins, Joslyn Jenkins, Jerome Jenkins III; Courtney, Christopher, Tanisha, Teona, Conner, Deja, Jayden, Brayden and Krya. Loving Great Grandfather of Jamal Holmes, Jael Hughes & Ka’mya Moore. Johnny was preceded in death by 7 siblings. Dear Uncle and Great Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. Loving Friend of O.C. Moore & Dereck “Slick” Lewis. Johnny was a Loving member of the United Baptist Church, 4242 W. Roosevelt Road, Chicago.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation Friday, November 19th 2021 from 3:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside IL 60162 (located between Manheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow, Saturday, November 20th 2021, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels. Visitation from 9:00 A.M until time of Chapel Service celebrated promptly at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
