John A. Carpino of Melrose Park for more than 50 years, passed away peacefully on Monday August 17, 2026 in the tranquility of his own home at the Golden Age of 81. Beloved Husband of Darlene nee Scarpelli for a loving 59 years. Devoted Father of Eugene (Gia) and Anthony Carpino. Loving Son of the late Eugene and the late Josephine nee Loverde, Carpino. Fond Grandfather of Eugene F. Jr. and Sofia Rose Carpino. Dear Brother of the late Roslyn (the late Edward) Menard, the late LaVerne (the late Leroy) Condon, the late Dolores (the late Charles) Abruzzini, the late Marlyn (John “Jack”) Williams, the late Darlene (the late Wayne) Kessling. Dear Uncle, Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Friday Morning August 21, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located Between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to immediately follow from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 11:00 a.m. proceeding to Sacred Heart Church, 819 North 16th Avenue, Melrose Park, Illinois.
