Jesse Velazquez, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Golden Age of 87. Beloved Husband for a loving 64 years to Carmen, nee Aguilar, Velazquez. Devoted Father of Judith (Lisa) Velazquez, Denise Velazquez-Taylor, Cynthia Velazquez and Sandra Velazquez.  Loving Son of the late Pedro and the late Magdalena Velazquez. Fond Grandfather of Jennifer Taylor, Donald Taylor, Salvatore N. Baldassano, Nikko Baldassano, Nicholas Baldassano, Jessica (Michael) Zolfo and Vanessa Abenante. Fond Great-Grandfather of Benjamin Sylvester, Jack Sylvester, Jamie Sylvester, Elena Sylvester, Maddie Zolo, Peyton Zolo, Carmella Zolfo and Alessandra Zolfo. Dear Brother of Lalo (Kathy) Velazquez, Neomi (the late Phil) Martinez, Rita Rodriguez, Leticia (Polo) Nunez and the late Ralph (the late Lupe) Velazquez. Dear Brother-in-law of Consuelo (Richard) Vonachen. Loving Father-in-Law of Jim Abenante, Nick Baldassano, and Don Taylor. Loving Companion of Furry Friend, the late Trapo the cat. Jesse was a devoted parishioner of St. Leonard Parish in Berwyn, Loyal Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed being a member of Western Electric Pioneers.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 8:30 A.M. Proceeding to St. Leonard Parish, 3322 Clarence Ave, Berwyn, Illinois.
