James Roy Lovelace passed away on May 18, 2026. Beloved Husband of Annette Lovelace for a loving 63 years. Devoted Father of James (Mary) Lovelace, Mark (Luci) Lovelace, Tom (Lynette) Lovelace, and Brian (Michelle) Lovelace. Loving Son of the late Robert and the late Gladys Lovelace. Fond Grandfather of Kelly (Adam) Nicholson, Julie (Jack) Forde, Christyn Lovelace, Tyler (Michelle) Lovelace, Dylan Lovelace, Tatum Lovelace, Caitlin (Kelly) Paseka, Camey Lovelace, Kylie Lovelace, Trevor Lovelace, Kenna (Harrison) Niego, and Logan (Alice) Lovelace. Loving Great Grandfather of Andrew, Hannah, and Grayson. Dear Brother of the late Amos ( Nancy) Lovelace, the late Tom (Nancy) Lovelace, the late Robert Lovelace, and the late Rick (Judy) Lovelace. Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 3-8 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Between Mannheim and Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Russo’s Hillside Chapels at 9:00 a.m. proceeding to Divine Providence Catholic Church, 2550 Mayfair Ave, Westchester, IL 60154.
