James M. Flemons passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Beloved Husband of Nellie Flemons, nee Thigpen for a loving 50 years. Devoted Father of Anthony Heard and Claudette Garron. James is preceded in death by his parents Flinard Young and Idella Flemons. Fond Grandfather of Dinah Flemons, Jeon Garron, Taniah Garron, Ashlee DeNovo-Boyd and Corey Willoughby. Dear Brother of Frank (Tracey) Young, Monique Young, Diane Young, Annette Young-Perry, Venus Young. James is preceded in death by his Brother Jesse Young and Sisters, Agnes Flemons, Janice Young-Boyd and Venus Young. Dear Uncle and Great Uncle to a host of Nieces and Nephews. Cherished Godfather of Patricia Perkins-Brown and Vivian Logan.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim and Wolf Road).
