James W. Curry, U.S. Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the golden age of 80. Beloved Husband of Jeannette P. Curry. Devoted Father of Angelique Curry, Jimmia Curry and Amber Curry. Loving Son of the late Willie J. & the late Lillie Bell Curry. Fond Grandfather of Christopher Crouch, Joshua Curry, Jeremiah Curry, Juliana Curry, Jaylen Curry and Kasyn Jenkins. Dear Brother of Karen Thomas, Patricia Brewster, the late William J. Curry, Jr., the late David Curry, the late Beverly Sue Curry and the late Manetta Renfroe. Dear Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Funeral to follow on Saturday, August 30, 2025 – All Family & Friends are to gather at Second Baptist Church, 436 S. 13th Avenue, Maywood, Illinois.
