Hae Jin Jung passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19th in the tranquility of his own home and surrounded by his loving family at the golden age of 82. Beloved Husband of the late Bok Ye nee Shin for a loving 53 years. Devoted Father of Anne Q Narm, Marie (Martin Mondragon) Jung, Ilsun (Melissa) Jung, Anne (Benjamin) Somerman and Myung Duk Jung. Loving Son of the late Kee Hee and the late Kan Ran nee Kim, Jung. Fond Grandfather of Betty Narm, Andrew (the late Esther) Narm, Sean “Daehan” Lee, Jean “Soyeon” Lee, Alexandra Mondragon, Isabela Mondragon, Selena Mondragon, Juliet Mondragon, Mason Jung, and Matthew Jung. Dear Brother of Kyung Im Choe (the late Jong Suk Choe), Cuem Ja Perrone (James Perrone), Hyung Jin Jung (Jung Ja Jung), Soon Im Dunkirk (Charles Dunkirk), Kyung Soon An, and Jin Boon Lee (Hyung Nam Lee). Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are to gather for a Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday September 24th, 2025. Directly at St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Church, 1275 Arlington Heights Road, Itasca, Illinois. At 10:00AM for a 30-minute visitation immediately followed by a mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated promptly at 10:30AM. Interment will remain private.
