Gloria Lasek nee Biagi passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 96. Beloved Wife of the late Raymond John Lasek for a loving 62 years. Devoted Mother of the late Michael Raymond (Cynthia) Lasek, Sandee Hood, Victoria (John) Lasek-Newcomb, and Elizabeth (Patrick) Byrne. Loving Daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Fannie Biagi. Fond Grandmother of Kaitlin (Chris), Lauren, Aaron, Tyler, Abigail (Edgar), Kristina (Justin), Kevin (Shelby), and Francesca. Dear Great-Grandmother of Izabella, Emma, Ava, Hazel, Owen, and Jonathan. Dear Sister of Dolores (Maceo) Ellison, and the late Carl Biagi.

Family and friends are to gather for the Visitation Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). A Chapel Service of Christian burial will be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Garden Mausoleum, Hillside, IL.
