Georgia Mae Pertiller, nee Cochran, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the golden age of 90. Beloved Wife of the late Louis Pertiller. Devoted Mother of Rose M. (Fletcher) Hughes and the late Mitchell (the late Nancy) Harris. Loving Daughter of the late Frank & the late Carrie, nee Allen, Cochran. Fond Grandmother of Raina Lemons, Felicia (Eric) Schmitz and the late Linda Turner (Don) nee Harris. Fond Great-Grandmother of Marshon (Fiancée Angel Miller) Hughes, Jeremiah Cooperyoung, Jordan Schmitz, Jayla Cooperyoung, Isabella Cvetanovski, Aura Harris, Alexandria (Jimmie Anderson) Dawson and Ian Dawson, Jr. Fond Great-Great Grandmother of Amerria, Kahlil and Malani. Dear Sister of many. Dear Aunt of many Nieces & Nephews.

Georgia devoted many years of her life to running a home daycare, where she cared for numerous children. Her nurturing spirit and compassion made her a loving “Granny” to each child who came under her care, offering a warm and supportive environment that impacted many young lives.

Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road). Chapel Service to be celebrated promptly at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Sunset Memorial Lawn, 3100 Shermer Road, Northbrook, Illinois.
