George J. “Skip” Tighe, Jr., U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully in the tranquility of his home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, at the Golden age of 91. Beloved Husband of the late Shirley, nee Kamarke, Tighe. Devoted Father of Richard J. Tighe and Dawn P. (Gary) Grant. Loving Son of the late George Sr. and Mamie Tighe. Fond Grandfather of Patrick, Daniel, and Michael Grant. Dear Brother of the Late Patricia Tighe. Owner of Midstates Elevator Co. for 27 years. Proud member of Local 2 IUEC.

Family and friends are to gather for the visitation, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Words of Remembrance celebrated promptly at 7:00 P.M. at Russo’s Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162 (Located between Mannheim & Wolf Road).
